🏆 25TH ANNUAL MALVERN BOWL

Herbie’s Honkers (Dylan) vs. SqueakSqueakinSqueakSqueakity (Dave)
The title game features the league’s two most dangerous teams, even if their paths here were very different.
Dylan, the #1 seed, was dominant all season, finishing 21–7 with the most total points scored. After earning a first-round bye, he reminded everyone why he was the favorite by exploding for nearly 200 points last week. His roster has been powered by elite consistency from Puka Nacua, Bijan Robinson, and Trey McBride, forming one of the strongest trios in league history. Dylan enters the final with a 23–17 all-time playoff record as he looks to pick up his tenth league Championship.
Dave, the #3 seed, had no bye and no margin for error, but delivered anyway. Despite finishing two games back of the #2 seed to earn that extra week off, he battled through two straight playoff wins to reach the championship. He’s been red-hot lately, scoring 160+ points in three of the last five weeks, led by MVP-level production from Josh Allen, along with strong showings from team leaders George Pickens and Chase Brown. Dave’s postseason performance stands at 16–23, which is one of the worst in league history but maybe momentum is on his side this year as he attempts to reach his first Championship since 2004.
Head-to-Head Comparison:
2025 regular season: Dave leads 1–0
All-time: Dave leads 18–11
Postseason: Dylan leads 2–1
Dylan suffered a big blow to his team with Quinshon Judkins going down with a dislocated ankle last week, but should have the depth to cover. Also worth monitoring this week is the status of Josh Allen and Rashee Rice who are both questionable, but regardless, this match-up pits season-long dominance against playoff resilience.
🚽 Toilet Bowl
Wrong Lever! (Tom) vs. We’re All Made Here (Rico)
In addition to the championship game there is another fight for survival this week as we look to award this year's Toilet Bowl champion as well!
Tom enters as the #1 seed in the loser bracket after finishing 12th overall with a 6–22 record. Despite the struggles, he showed some late life last week with 137 points, though it wasn’t enough against an loser bracket's strongest team who suffered a major upset the previous week. Tom will need to lean on Jalen Hurts, with help from Nico Collins and Jameson Williams, as he tries to build on his 14–19 all-time postseason record.
Rico, the #5 seed in the loser bracket, narrowly missed the playoffs during the regular season but hasn’t been able to find traction since, failing to crack even 85 points in recent weeks. Still, his roster includes heavy hitters like Dak Prescott, Trevor Lawrence, and Jonathan Taylor which he'll need to to rely on if he hopes to finally be on the winning side of his perfectly even 15–15 postseason record.
Head-to-Head Comparison:
2025 regular season: Tom leads 1–0
All-time: Tied 12–12
Postseason: Tom leads 1–0
No injuries to report for Rico, which could benefit as he looks to put forth his best possible team for a chance to escape back to back Toilet Bowl titles.
Final Word
Two match-ups. Four teams. One week left.
Will Dylan’s historic season end with a championship, or can Dave complete his long playoff climb? Will Tom pull off the upset or can Rico regain his mid-season momentum and avoid
finishing last?
NFL Week 17 will decide it all. 🏈
